Take All Our Coins Sis ft Iwadé

Hey Guys!

If you know me or you’ve been following me, you’ll know I love everything about fashion, from the illustration down to the final production. So today I bring to you a fashion brand based in Nigeria (a personal fave) and their new fashion drop – AMANI Lounge Wear. This collection by IWADÉ dropped not too long ago and I’m bringing this goodness to you! I know you want to see what the hype is all about, no worries, I got you.

Like I said earlier this collection includes pieces that can be worn at home and get this, you can take the fun outside. From the IWADÉ website, the AMANI Lounge Wear Collection claims to be “A selection of handpicked soft quality fabrics made into the most comfortable, feminine stylish pieces.” and “A collection of earth-toned pieces you can lounge in and show up to a brunch in without hesitation.” From what I am seeing, this isn’t half wrong. In a particular order (most favorite to least favorite) I’ll be talking about each piece;

Nalah

Is it surprising that a dress with bell sleeves and an exaggerated slit is my favourite from this collection? This set was primarily created as a lounge wear but you definitely know I’m wearing this out for a girls day out. I love everything about this dress from the color down to the knot at the front (a plus for us big boobed girls). I can already imagine the content I will create with this.

This dress retails for 22,000 NGN on their website with a size range from UK 2 – UK 24.

Zahara Set

This set gives me a very earthy, serene vibe. I think the color and material choice was amazing for this set. I can see where they were going with when creating this set, the top part can be worn with short shorts or even the bottom it came with and the pants? I know you can think of a million and one ways to style this. The ruffle neck line/ sleeve is very “different”, you don’t even need a neck accessory when wearing this.

The Zahara Set retails for 25,000 NGN on their site and also has a wide range of sizes from UK 2 – UK 24.

Zuri Set

You know a set is great when the functionality is top notch. The Zuri three-piece set can be styled in many ways – to the beach, lunch, picnic or even church. I personally love the color and how baggy it is. This is definitely a lounge wear piece (that doesn’t mean I won’t be wearing it out though 😉)

This retails for 24,000 NGN and is size-inclusive.

Maya Set

I feel like this set would be the fave of every Instagram teenage baddie, it’s a cute, simple and it looks very comfortable. The Maya set is a cream colored two piece – a wrap top and a ruched skirt with a mini peplum at the bottom. Personally, I don’t see how this can be worn as a lounge wear (okay maybe the skirt), but I can see my self wearing this on a dinner date or lunch (basically anything involving food 😂).

The Maya set is probably the cheapest in this collection as it retails for 21,500 NGN.

Lela Jumpsuit

The last on my list is the Lela jumpsuit and it’s still a hit! Black is a color I gravitate to when picking an outfit, so this is weird that this is the last on my list. The cutout on the waist shows skin but not too much skin, a hint of sexy but not too sexy. Can we also talk about the asymmetrical neck line and flared bottom (very 90’s disco vibe). I wouldn’t have guessed that this was a jumpsuit if they didn’t state it, I thought it was a two piece (I’m sure you thought so too).

The jumpsuit also retails for 21,500 NGN and ranges from a size 2 to 24.

After window shopping the AMANI Lounge wear collection all I can say is ” in this life, have money ooooh” cause I’m too broke to afford it (if you want to sponsor your girl, I won’t say no 😂). The colors in this collection are definitely for me, very neutral, very plain, very minimal. You can shop this collection here for me, yourself, your babe, your mum, anybody.

Which piece was your favorite? Which piece do you feel will fit me? Which one describes my style? Are you shopping from this collection? Let me know! Also, it’ll mean a lot if you follow their Instagram page and tell them I (@TheChikaIbe) sent you?
