My Not So Current Favorites|July Edition

Hey guys,

Regardless of all that is happening in the world right now, I can say my July wasn’t so bad. I spent most of it at home and had a ball (at least to an extent).

I am starting a monthly series where I tell you guys my faves. The July edition is coming out later than it’s meant to, (but better late than never, right?🙃) and some of my followers on Instagram don’t think it’s late, so it’s only right I give my followers what they want😉. Enough of the rambling, let’s get into my July favorites….

BEAUTY FAVORITES

The first on my list has to be the Yves Rocher Sebo Végétal 4-in-1 Moisturizing Blemish Care moisturizer. It claims to mattify for 8 hours, reduce the size of pores, reduce the appearance of imperfections, and improve the appearance of scars caused by acne. I can’t say it does or did all that for me but the moisture you get from it is amazing and I can also testify to how matte it makes the skin look. It also applies well under make up.

I also loved and still love the Nivea Nourishing Cocoa lotion. I got this because I was tired of the lotion I was using before (a fake of a popular one) and I’m actually in love with it. I don’t know if it’s cause of how it smells or how it feels on the skin. I just love it.

LIFESTYLE FAVORITES

The first in this segment and honestly my favorite is my phone. I got a new phone after my previous one decided to be a pain in the a** (excuse my French). I got the iPhone 8 Plus and guys! There’s a difference in my pictures (quality wise), if you don’t believe me you can check my Instagram😉. I’m so glad I got this one, thanks Daddy😊.

The CIW sketchbook was and is still is one of my favorites. If you are just starting out a fashion illustration journey or you just love illustrating and don’t like drawing the human figure then this book is for you. The only downside to this is the fact that it only comes with only the female figure. So if you focus on men or children fashion there’s no point in getting this. I am currently working on a collection, can’t wait to share it with you guys!

The last on this list is this song Just Fine by Mary J Blige, a friend put me on to this song and I am putting you on. It’s such a great “reminder”, you listen to it and remember who you are and what you want to do or achieve. Sad or unmotivated? This is the song for you

STYLE FAVORITES

I didn’t get any new style or clothing item last month, but I have some faves from other stylish people and I guess I can add them to my list.

The first on this list is this Boned Cotton Pocket Bra I saw this on Melissaswardrobe’s Instagram and I fell in love. It may not be the best fit for my body type but I already have a friend in mind that this will look great on. It’s so different from the usual, you’ll definitely get heads to turn in this outfit.

I also love the Spotty Sweetheart Neck Short Dress from Coast Fashion. Can’t remember who I saw it on but it was definitely a fave! If you know me, you know I love exaggerated sleeves and this dress has a lot of that. It also has some sort of ruching around the dress (style tip for covering belly fat) and it also snatches the waist so well. Can you tell I really love the dress?

We’ve come to the end of today’s post, where I spoke on my July favorites. Did you love it? Are you excited for the August edition? Let me know in the comment section.

Thank you for reading to this point, it means a lot. Love you 😘
