What’s up guys! It’s your girl Chika!! (Chill out sis, why are you shouting? 😂)
As we all know, fashion is one of the most recycled things. So today I’ll be telling you about a few fashion trends that are making a comeback in the fashion industry.
1. Ruffles

Outfit by Fe NoelThis 80’s trend has definitely made a comeback. At least two in five women have a piece with ruffles on them, either minimalistic or loud and proud. If you’ve not jumped on this trend I think you should, especially if you want to stay noticed.
2. Bell bottoms

This may not be my favorite but it has definitely made a comeback. It also came back in different cuts and design.
Side note: it adds extra curves to your body 😉 ( don’t say I don’t do anything for you)
3. Slogan tees

You can’t say 80’s and not talk about slogan tees. This fashion piece was not only used for fashion but was used to pass across information during riots and other political events. To be honest I don’t think it ever left. This trend has passed several decades and it’s not leaving any time soon.
4. Mules

Mules were definitely on the feet of every fashion blogger or enthusiast this year. And I was definitely all for it! I mean, I didn’t get one but next year me moooove (lol). These shoes were popular in the 90’s but originally came in the early 1700’s as bedroom shoes.
5. Chunky sneakers

I’m in love with this trend. So I was rewatching the Fresh Prince of Belair and I just kept on admiring Will’s (we’re g’s so I address him by first name 😂) shoe collection. I personally think these shoes look good on everything, but that’s just me you don’t need to agree.
6. Silk scarves

I’m still trying to fall in love with this trend. I’m in a love hate relationship with it and that’s mainly cause I suck at tying scarves (help a sister out if you do). It was popular in the 50’s and other decades without leaving out ours.
7. Corset

This trend!!!! (I had to shout because of my love for it) It started in France in the 16th century and is now making a comeback (and I’m here for it!) It is so cute, it literally makes you look like you took so much effort to put your look together when in fact you did nothing. It literally screams “Do you know who my daddy is?” when styled properly. If you haven’t jumped on this you should (lowkey talking to myself 🙃).
8. Mom jeans

The last on my list are the mom jeans. This trend started a few years ago and has definitely come to stay. Major fashion trend setters or bloggers really brought this fashion piece into its limelight.
I have reached the end of this blog post. Hope you learned a thing or two about fashion trends and hope you’re on your way to cop some of the items listed above.
Comment your favorite fashion trend and “🥳” if you read up to this point.
Till next time 😘,
Chika ❤️

This is interesting. Why do u focus on fashion for ladies alone. Men share d same trend. Interesting though. Well done!
